The Herb of Confusion (Japanese: 混乱草) is a herb introduced to the Super Famicom release of Shiren 1. Consuming it will confuse Shiren for 10 turns and throwing and hitting a Monster or NPC with an Herb of Confusion will cause that creature to be confused for 10 turns. In addition to the availability table (below), Herbs of Confusion are sometimes dropped by Daze Radishes. Also, if Shiren has been transformed into a Daze Radish (for example by eating Daze Radish Meat), he can throw Herbs of Confusion at will. If a Daze Radish throws a herb at you while you're not confused and misses, it's one of these so name it!
