Etrian 1:Add-On Content

An online advertisement for the DLC.

Add-On Content is available for purchase by players in Etrian Mytstery Dungeon. DLC acts as a resource that can be used for fundraising, convenient dishes are added, among other things. If you find that a dungeon is a little too difficult for you, it's intended to make the game easier. For a limited time in Japan, the DLC was made available for free. Originally intended to be "free" until March 31, 2015, due to a retailer shortage, the free DLC offer was instead extended to April 15, 2015. Prior to the English release, Atlus announced via Twitter that all DLC would be free for the first month, starting on April 7, 2015.

The DLC can be downloaded before you start your save file from the main menu but you need to progress past a certain point in the story before you can use it.

As of March 26, 2023, the game is delisted from the European eShop and the list of DLC can't be seen, however the in-game shop menu that is used to buy DLC can actually be accessed and it seems to be possible to purchase DLC. 3DS eShop purchases will no longer be possible from March 27, 2023.
