Gates:Tactics

Tactics are a game mechanic in Gates to Infinity that changes the way party members other than the leader behave inside a dungeon. The player can change a Pokémon's tactic by opening the menu with X while inside a dungeon, selecting "Status" and then "Tactics Meeting". From there, the tactic of each individual Pokémon can be changed, as well as changing it for all of them at once by selecting "All Members". Let's go together is the default tactic. The tactics of Pokémon that aren't Team members can't be changed.

Let's go together	いっしょに　いこう	This Pokémon follows the leader. If it sees a foe, it takes a step forward.	This Pokémon will follow the leader. If there's an enemy, it will battle near the leader.
Follow me	うしろに　ついてきて	This Pokémon follows the leader. It battles when next to an enemy.	This Pokémon will follow the leader. If an enemy is right next to it, it will battle.
Don't use moves	わざを　つかわないで	This Pokémon will follow the leader and will stop using any moves.	This Pokémon will follow the leader. The Pokémon will stop using any moves.
Go after foes	まよわず　すすめ	This Pokémon will follow the leader. It runs to battle any enemy it sees.	This Pokémon will follow the leader. If it finds an enemy, it moves toward that enemy to battle.
You go the other way	むこうは　まかせた	The Pokémon will go its own way without paying attention to the leader.	The Pokémon doesn't pay attention to the leader and moves as it pleases. It's difficult to help a faraway teammate who's in a pinch, so be careful.
Wait there	そのばで　たいき	The Pokémon will stop moving. If an enemy comes close, it will attack.	The Pokémon will not move from its spot, but if an enemy is next to it, it will battle.
Get away from here	ここから　にげて	The Pokémon runs from other Pokémon. It will not attack or use moves.	This Pokémon will run away from other Pokémon. It will not attack or use moves, so be careful.
