Effect on Shiren
Shiren's movement and attack controls will get a random direction. He can't speak to NPCs, and can attack them accidentally when pressing the action button.
However, ranged attacks like shooting Arrows, swinging Staves or throwing Items will still launch the proper direction.
How to get affected
There are several ways to get this status condition:
- Hundred Eye Family monsters can confuse Shiren with their special ability
- Get hit by a magic bolt from Skull Wizards and Skull Wraiths with a confusing effect
- Step on a Spinning Trap
- Confuse Hermits can confuse Shiren with their special ability
- Get hit by a reflected bolt from a Doppelganger Staff
- Eat an Herb of Confusion
- Get hit by thrown Herbs of Confusion from Daze Radishes
How to cure
To cure confusion, it is possible to:
- Eat a Medicinal Herb
- Eat a Restorative Herb
- Transform into a Monster by eating its meat
Wearing an Armband of Calm will prevent confusion.
