Shiren 1 DS:Sleepless Armband

Template:Infobox Armbands (Shiren 1) The Sleepless Armband (Japanese: 眠りよけの腕輪) is an armband introduced in the Nintendo DS port of Shiren 1. Wearing this armband will prevent Shiren from being inflicted with the sleeping state. This item is one of the best armbands to use for general exploration in this game as the sleeping state can often times be fatal to you. Having the ability to ignore all Sleeping Gas traps easily provides an actual sensation of comfort while exploring in this game.

This armband is most effective if you are going deep into a dungeon that has Sleep Radish or Skull Demon enemies, and is an excellent choice to equip if you plan on fighting either of those monsters to protect you from their sleep inducing abilities.

All together, Sleepless Armbands protect against:

• Sleeping Gas Traps.
• Sleeping Herbs thrown by Sleep Radishes.
• The sleeping bolts from Skull Demons.
• The sleep effect from eating a Rotten Riceball.

The effect of a Sleepless Armband is included in several "rescue reward" armbands: the Alertness Armband, the Pure Armband, and the Vigilant Armband.
