Shiren 1 DS:Herb of Amnesia

The Herb of Amnesia (Japanese: 物忘れの草) is a herb introduced to the Nintendo DS port of Shiren 1. Consuming it causes Shiren to forget every item that has been identified. It also removes your custom names for every item. This herb is one of several items that are present to make identifying unidentified items in the Final Puzzle more dangerous and/or risky.

Tips for use

• There really is no good way to utilize this item. Should you eat this herb, losing critical item information can create run ending situations if you can't remember what items are dangerous, so avoid eating it.
• In this game, this herb is only found in shops within Fay's Final Puzzle on floors 51 and beyond. This makes it extremely easy to avoid consuming it. Just make sure you never eat any unidentified 4,000 Gitan herbs you find in shops.
