After the meteor is destroyed, the player is informed that something weird is going on with Snubbull. When they reach the Whiscash Pond, they see Alakazam with a 'new' Pokémon. The 'new' Pokémon is Granbull, a new form taken by Snubbull after reaching Luminous Cave from an opening of the stepping rocks on the pond.
How to evolve
- See also: List of Evolution Items
In order to evolve a Pokémon, the player needs to enter Luminous Cave from the Whiscash Pond area with said Pokémon as the leader, as evolution can't happen anywhere else in the game. The Pokémon needs to satisfy its evolution requirements, such as surpassing a certain level or having a specific item.
Effects
Evolution will affect the Pokémon's stat growths when leveling up, move learnsets and potentially its abilities.
