Summary

Talismans are magic projectiles. Like all other items except Stones, you can throw/shoot them 10 tiles, and like all other items, they seem to miss 10% - 25% of the time under normal circumstances regardless of how far they travel. (The exact miss rate or formula has not yet been determined.) If they hit, they affect all creatures except the player in a 3x3 grid around the target (aka within 1 tile's range). Talismans cannot be blessed, cursed, or sealed, and they are stackable up to 99 copies in a single inventory space. Talismans are always found in stacks of 2-4 normally. All talismans have identical prices so they cannot be identified that way, but every type of talisman can be uniquely identified by a single use. The only tricky parts about identification are that (1) you may not have all types identified in your Item Book yet, making it harder to name them correctly when you use them, and (2) the log output for Sleep and Slumber talismans is very similar and easy to mix up if you're not careful.
