An English fan translation of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 2: Oni Invasion! Shiren Castle! began development in 2019. It was translated by SharkSnack, while the technical hacking side was handled by Ozidual. The first full version was released on September 27, 2021, on the 21st anniversary of the original release of the game.
