Template:Edible Item infoboxProtein (タウリン Taurine) is a health drink that can increase the base attack stat of a Pokémon by 3, as well as filling the Belly by 5 points. When sticky, the drink can still be consumed and the Pokémon can still gain its effects, but it also deals two damage. However, it cannot be held individually or swapped back into the inventory.
If Protein is held by an opponent or a partner, they will almost immediately consume the drinks and gain their effects.
Protein can be bought for 5000 Poké and sold for 5 Poké.
