Companion Mode (Japanese: なかまモード, Companion Mode) is a mode in Gates to Infinity. It's unlocked the day after seeing the Glacier Palace in the distance for the first time. Companion Mode is accessed by opening the menu by pressing X outside of a dungeon. The same menu allows to go back to (protagonist) Mode.
