For a full list of traps, see Torneko 1:List of Traps.

Traps (Japanese: ) in Super Famicom Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. are randomly found in Dungeons. By default they're invisible and appear as regular floor tiles. If Torneko walks on one, it has a 75% chance of activating. If it does it will also become permanently revealed. Traps have various effects, generally negative for Torneko, though some can be exploited by the player to their advantage. Some Items can reveal all traps on a Floor, prevent traps from activating or even create new traps.

Trap begin to appear on the fifth floor of the Trial Dungeon and the third floor of the Magic Dungeon and More Magic Dungeon, and become more common in lower floors. No trap can be found on floors made entirely of passageways, such as maze floors.
