Challenge to Soul of Serpentcoil Island(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. (Japanese: 超・神髄への挑戦) is the sixth Official Parallel Data event for Nintendo Switch/Steam Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. It was announced and released on November 8, 2024 for the Japanese, Chinese, and English versions, all using the same code.[1][2][3] It requires the paid DLC to play.

Official Competition

Tied to the Parallel Data is a Japan only competition, similar to the previous Official Parallel Play competition. Three winners will be chosen, each winner will receive one of three cards with Shiren 6 artwork, signed by Kaoru Hasegawa. Each card has different art, featuring Asuka and Koppa in different poses. To participate, players must follow the official Twitter account for the Shiren series and post a screenshot of the challenge's clear screen with the hashtag #シレン６超・神髄クリア. The profiles of participants must be public. Participants also agree to the terms and conditions. Screenshots must be sent between November 8, 2024 18:00 to November 17, 2024 23:59. In addition, if at least 100 screenshots are published for the challenge, Spike Chunsoft will release smartphone and tablet wallpapers.[4]

More than 200 people submitted scores, and as such, Asuka wallpapers were distributed as promised, as well as bonus wallpapers on November 18, 2024.[5]
