What We Know So Far

Weeks 2 and 4 in their playable state allot Shiren 56 and 54 minutes of playtime respectively. Week 2 awards Shiren with 10 random items when entering the dungeon while week 4 awards 15. Each week is a renamed version of Table MountainLore that spans 7 floors per week.

Week 1

A cutscene plays at the start of the broadcast showing Oryu the Blinder first blinding a man and then the normal cutscene of her being confronted in the Bamboo Village by a couple men. Shiren shows up and they run off, Oryu then decides to follow Shiren.

The game starts you out in a modified version of Canyon Hamlet with 3 Characters. There's an inn with a signpost outside saying that it's closed and there's a unique building with no signpost or hanging banner. Neither building can be entered. The first sign (Japanese: 宿屋「旅ガラス」閉店中) The Inn "The Traveling Crow" is closed.[1] and the second says (Japanese: 右、BSの洞窟入口) or Right, Cave of BS Entrance."

Oryu Floors: 2

Week 2

Week 2 starts off in a sectioned-off version of Mountaintop Town. There are 3 Characters. The only accessible building is the warehouse and only one other building even has a door.

The warehouse has arrows on the floor in the playable version found online. They were stacks of arrows (18 if memory serves correctly), topping out at 99 in total when picked up. The dungeon is titled Cave of BS (Japanese: BSの洞窟), you spawn on floor 8 with an inventory full of seemingly random items.

Shiren starts out at level 12 and his name is [[[[ which might both be carry overs from whoever played this game back in the day.

Pekeji can join the adventure.

Floor items

  • Gitan

Inventory

  • When I walked into the dungeon, the game started me off with a bunch of items already at my disposal. I had a Pickaxe +2 and a Bronze Shield +3. When I quit to re-enter the dungeon because I wasn't sure if I picked up new items, it gave me a new sword and shield, both +3.
    • You seem to get a set of 10 random items in your inventory every time you play, more if you bring items in from the warehouse. You always get a Big Rice Ball and a weapon and shield.

Week 2: Play Time allotted: 56 minutes

You start out with a timer in the upper left of the screen at level 12 with the name [[ [[ and no items or Gitan. The warehouse contains 20 stacks of Arrows, each stack containing 18 Cursed arrows. There's 3 Characters, 1 blocking the path who must be switched places with. You're given 10 random items which always include an equipped sword and shield and a Big Riceball. You can climb 7 floors until you reach Cryptic Rock Valley. The warehouse contains 20 stacks of arrows, each stack containing 18 cursed arrows. There are 3 Characters, 1 blocking the path who must be switched places with. The only 2 Characters in the valley are the Warehouse Guard and his wife. You can store items in the warehouse. Pekeji can be found in the dungeon and will join you on your adventure.

Week 3

Week 4

Week 4 started me off in a modified version of the Underground Stream Village. The same 3 Characters from before were back. The only building in town was a warehouse and like the week 2 warehouse, was filled with 20 stacks of 18 arrows each, all cursed. When entering the Cave of BS, I was given 15 random items including a sword and shield with +7 - 8 usually. I entered into the 22nd floor at level 27. The dungeon goes at least to floor 30. Armbands, Jars, Staves and Scrolls appear to be unidentified as well as the + value of weapons. Shiren's name is again 4 brackets. A shop appeared on 25 Fl

  • Shop Floors: 24, 25
  • Surala Floors: 26

Gaibara the Legendary Potter can be found in a modified version of the Golden City. He tells you there's still time to play and quit to the menu to return to the Underground Stream Village. At the end of the time limit after (Reaching Gaibara, saving the girl?) you're transported to a modified version of Canyon Hamlet.

Week 4: Play Time allotted: 54 minutes.

You start out with a timer in the upper left-hand screen at level 27 and the name [[ [[ and no items or Gitan. The warehouse contains 20 stacks of arrows, each stack containing 18 cursed arrows. There are 3 Characters, 1 blocking the path who must be switched places with. You're given 15 random items which always include an equipped sword and shield and a big riceball. You can climb 7 floors until you reach the Golden City. You only have access to one room, Gaibara the Legendary Potter can be found standing at the back wall in front of the mural of the Golden CondorLore with a tablet to his left talking about the Golden City and the Golden Condor.

Misc. notes

  • Each week seems to start off with a message from Gaibara telling you about the next leg of the journey. Audio plays while the loading bar progresses and then a cutscene.
  • Week 1 shows the Oryu cutscene. Week 2 shows the Pekeji cutscene and week 4 shows the Gaibara cutscene. Does week 3 have Kechi as an ally and does it show his cutscene?

Cutscenes

  • Week 1 starts off with a cutscene showing Oryu first blinding a man in the normal Table MountainLore early floors (3 - 4) and then cuts to Bamboo Village showing the 2 men talking about confronting her before finally showing them confronting her before Shiren shows up.
