Gaining Access

You can gain access right after you defeat the Sword Tiger at the Ruined Temple and watch the cutscene at the bar. It's accessed from the overworld menu under the same menu option as the Portal Dungeon.

Every item will be identified upon entry and rare items you normally don't find until the post game will show up, along with post game monsters.
