Jizo Statue
This event can be done on your first trip to the past during the story. If you have completed the story already, investigate the well in Otsutsuki Village to return to the past.
- Talk to the elderly couple in the village's tavern (southeastern building) about a headless Jizo walking around at night.
- Go to the Ruined Temple and examine the headless Jizo (statue) on the North-Western corner and accept the quest to get it a new head.
- While in the past, go to the house to the North of the well and speak with a boy laying on the mat, Nagara. After speaking with him, choose the second option "Tell his father to bury one" / 「爺さんに作ってもらって埋めてもらう」. It will cost 500 Gitan to make the Jizo's head.
- Once in the present after giving the request to Nagara, there will be a stone tablet northwest of the well. Go up to it and investigate it and you will find the Jizo's head buried there.
- Take the Jizo head to the broken statue at the Ruined Temple. The Jizo will start talking and you will befriend it. The Jizo is able to appear in dungeons randomly on any floor and will do one thing for you.
Once an option has been selected on any dungeon-delving adventure, it can't be selected again until your next adventure.
