Effect on Shiren

All of Shiren's damage dealt will be multipled by 1.5, which includes melee attacks, fired Arrows, Blastwave Scroll damage, and the value of thrown Gitan (after the original value has been divided by 10).

This status can be applied multiple times to magnify the damage multiplier (+0.25 added onto 1.5 each time). This can be done a maximum of 8 times to achieve a multiplier of 3.25, and after the 8th scroll, there will be no additional bonus.

How to get affected

Reading a Power Up Scroll will give Shiren the 'Enhanced' status.

How to cure

As a beneficial status condition, the player likely wouldn't want to cure the 'Enhanced' status and therefore would avoid ways of accidentally curing the condition. These methods are listed below:

• Becoming a Monster by consuming Monster Meat or being transformed by a magic attack from a Skull Mage Family Monster.
• Moving to a different floor via the stairs or a Pitfall Trap.

Trivia

• Even after reading multiple scrolls, Shiren's status does not change from 'Enhanced' and there is no indication of how many have been read, other than in the Message Log and in Shiren's damage output.
