Etrian 2:Class

Classes are part of the Etrian Odyssey series since the first game. In Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, there are a total of 15 classes. Along with all ten older classes returning from Etrian Mystery Dungeon, four classes from the mainline series, and a new class titled "Kenkaku Class" were added to the game.

About

There are a total of 15 classes, in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, each of which has different skills, stat growth, and equipment options. Whenever a character levels up, they gain a Skill Point that they can allocate on their class-specific skill tree, allowing a large variety of play styles. The player can freely create and customize the names, classes, and appearances of each party member they create, and Characters of the various classes are sometimes found wandering dungeons, who can be recruited.

	Landsknecht Class	ソードマン	Melee Fighter	Fights at close range with swords or rapiers. They rip through even the strongest foes; their techniques cause multiple enemies to fall.
	Protector Class	パラディン	Defender	Holy knights who protect their allies unto death. Though they are strong combatants, the shield is perhaps their true weapon.
	Gunner Class	ガンナー	Ranged Fighter	Ranged combat specialists who use firearms. They take out enemies at minimal risk to themselves in order to support the front line.
	Runemaster Class	ルーンマスター	Elementalist	Casters who employ runes to control the elements of fire, ice, and lightning. They excel against foes resistant to physical attacks.
	Medic Class	メディック	Healer	Practitioners of the healing arts. While battling with staves and maces, they keep a watchful eye for any damage their allies sustain.
	Dancer Class	ダンサー	Support Fighter	Dancers clad in exotic garments. Their dances rouse their allies and improve their performance in combat.
	Hexer Class	カースメーカー	Debuffer	Masters of forbidden words that inflict all manner of foul ailments. To anger a hexer is to court a life of misery.
	Ninja Class	シノビ	Specialist	Ones who veil themselves in shadow and call on the mystical art of ninpo. Their allies would do well to follow their crippling strikes.
	Sovereign Class	プリンス / プリンセス	Supporter	Blue-blooded royal heirs whose natural charisma and abundant confidence allows them to pile victory upon victory.
	Wanderer Class	フーライ	Specialist	Wandering in search of secrets in every corner of the world, these adventurers know no life without travel.

Trivia

• Much like the Wanderer Class referencing Wanderers from the Shiren the Wanderer series, in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, the new Kenkaku Class references two other characters from the series, those being Asuka for the female character, and Sensei for the male character. Their clothes were inspired by the two's appearances in Shiren the Wanderer 3: The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion.
