Summary

The "Others" category is basically a grab bag of miscellaneous, sometimes unusual items in Shiren 5. The 7 catstones and 10 flowers are sub-categories of virtually identical items, but the other items in this category are unique.

Gitan	ギタン	N/A	N/A		Besides just picking up gitan bags to add money to your wallet, you can also pick up the bag as an item and throw it as a projectile. If it hits, it does 0.1 damage per gitan (truncated down to the nearest integer). This can be very helpful in difficult dungeons.
Point Card	ポイントカード	N/A	N/A		You must have this with you to collect points from Points Switches or to spend points at the Points Shop. If blessed, you'll collect double points (confirm). But if you want to bless it, beware that the blessing runs out fairly quickly as you step on Points Switches.	If you lose your Point Card, you can buy another one from the Points Shop for 1,000 gitan.	If/when Shiren 5 crashes, you lose all the unspent points on your card, even if your card was safely stored at home! Crashes aren't super common but do happen. Spend your points and/or backup your game.

Dirt	土	N/A	N/A		Dirt is normally a pain to be avoided, but it can be helpful to leave one empty spot in your Preservation Pots and deliberately let a Trowelie fill them with dirt. If you don't need the items in your pot for a few floors and don't need the extra space, you can get a bunch of extra grasses this way.	You'll likely get dirt many times without wanting it. Have an unsealed normal pot like a Preservation Pot in your inventory, make sure it has at least one empty spot, and find a Trowelie monster. You can find them not very deeply in most dungeons. Don't kill it and it will eventually throw dirt at you and fill your pot.	Dirt cannot exist outside of pots. A pot with dirt in it can't be used. Dirt has a ~25% chance to degrade/evolve into a random grass every time you change floors, but it seems that at most one dirt can change per pot per floor. Once all the dirt in a pot has turned into grasses, you can use the pot again. If you're carrying a valuable pot whose value would be destroyed by having it filled with dirt (e.g. a Fever Pot) and you see a Trowelie monster, you can keep it safe by putting it on the ground. Deliberately sealing it may protect it from dirt too (confirm).
Rue	ヘンルーダ	N/A	N/A		There is no known way to make use of flowers, they apparently exist only to make it harder to complete the Item Book achievement.	The only way to get flowers is to put items into a Floramorph Pot, which will convert the items into random flowers. Floramorph Pots are somewhat rare, so if you're going for the Item Book achievement, you might want to save your first Floramorph Pot and reuse it multiple times with Extraction Scrolls and trash items until you complete the flowers section of your Item Book. See the Pots page for tips on finding a Floramorph Pot.	Flowers can only exist inside a Flormorph Pot.
