Magic Castle DS:Monster Meat

Monster Meat is a special Items type -- unlike other types of items, you'll never find it simply laying around, though it can be found in Shops. It can only be made with a Bufu's Staff or a Bufu's Cleaver When you zap a Monsters with a Bufu Staff, the it will create a meat bearing that monster's name. Killing monsters with a Bufu's Cleaver (or another weapon that has had a Bufu's Cleaver Melding and Seals added to it) will also convert the monsters into meat a fair percentage of the time. When eaten, the meat will restore 15 Fullness and transform you into that monster temporarily, granting you special abilities. Hen meat will restore 100 fullness. To use the special ability of the monster when transformed, pull up the menu and select "Special", or simply press L To revert, select "Revert".

Notes:

• Eating monster meat does not have an impact on Shiren current level e.g. eating Mamel meat will not cause you to die in one or two hits. However, currently equipped items does have an effect on the damage done or taken. However the equipped items' special effects do not work while transformed , so you can get your items stolen even if you wear a Walrus Shield. Similarly, Weapons and Shields can be degraded even if they have been plated.

• Eating a meat will cancel any States you had. When transformed, reverting to Shiren will have the same effect.

• When you eat a monster meat, the turn will also make use of the special ability. Be careful of where you are facing when you do this (especially in front of a Shopkeeper), and also you can use this to your advantage in certain situations.

• Throwing monster meat at another monster still gives that monster its turn.
• Nfu the Demon Puppy can absorb 10 different kinds of monster abilities at a time and will gain their ability. You can cancel it out by throwing the same type of meat at him again.
• The Bufu's Cleaver is fragile outside of the Tonfan Dungeon ?:
