About the Shiren wiki Discord server:

The server was created and intended to be a gathering place for Shiren fans to meet. We are fans of a niche game of a niche genre and the already small English fanbase is spread out over various Reddit, YouTube, GameFAQ's, Trophy Hunting, Twitter, Discord, etc. communities. This server was partially created as a counter to that. A place to gather and meet and discuss the series, similar to the forums from the old Shiren wiki. It is also intended as a place to quickly and easily provide wiki feedback, share wiki updates and communicate with fellow wiki editors, guardians and staff.

Role	Description
Wiki Admin:	Users with the Wiki Admin, Wiki guardian roles on the Shiren wiki.
Everyone:	Everybody who hasn't earned or requested a role to be applied to them.
New Wiki Editor /Contributor:	Active editors of the new Shiren wiki.
Old Wiki Editor /Contributor:	Contributors of the old Shiren wiki.
Shiren 1 DS English Rescuer:	English versions only.
Shiren 1 DS Japanese Rescuer:	Japanese versions only.
Shiren GB2 Rescuer:	This game is Japanese only.
Shiren DS2 Rescuer:	This game is Japanese only, it has a fan-translation patch but rescue functionality is in Japanese.
Shiren 3 Wii Rescuer:	Japanese Shiren 3 only.
Shiren 3 PSP Rescuer:	This game is Japanese only, it has a fan-translation patch but rescue functionality is unknown.
Shiren 4 DS Rescuer:	This game is Japanese only.

Discord Moderator:	Volunteers. (Nonexistent currently. Can be added if it's ever needed.)
Gamepedia Staff:	Gamepedia staff, wiki manager, etc. (Nonexistent currently. Can be added if it's ever needed.)
Translator:	Users who can speak Japanese or Korean and help with translation and item identification. (Nonexistent currently. Can be added if it's ever needed.)

Rules:

1- General rules

1) Treat every member with respect, harassment of any kind is not tolerated.

2) Swearing is allowed, except in excess or aimed towards another member.

3) Racism and sexism is not tolerated.

4) Don't impersonate another member.

5) Avoid discussing sensitive topics in depth (including but not limited to religion, politics, drugs). Remember, there is a time and place for these topics, but keep in mind this is a gaming Discord server.

6) Offensive stereotypes/generalizations of any sorts is not acceptable.

7) Do not try to provoke negative reactions out of others in the Discord.

8) Respect each others privacy, revealing personal or sensitive information about another user is not allowed.

9) Disruptive posting/spamming is not allowed 10) Constructive criticism is allowed and encouraged

1) Keep all conversations in the appropriate channels and read all pinned messages before posting.

2) Don't mention (@) members excessively.

3) Don't hate, discriminate or harass users who are fans of things you do not like.

4) Don't create multiple accounts, especially to evade any offenses you've made.

5) Don't create or have offensive/provocative usernames, please change them or we will as well you will be warned for this either way.

-4- Miscellaneous

The following things should be avoided. 1) Promoting piracy is not allowed.

2) Punishments will be given according to the severity of the rule violated.

3) Scams, trading, soliciting or impersonation.

4) Asking/posting malicious links, files or ACII.

5) Please use full links, preferably https. Short links (goo.gl, bit.ly etc.) are considered vague and unsecure.

6)Inappropriate content

7) Inappropriate nicknames.

8) Posting illegal content content you do not have permission for to freely distribute. Don't post anything Spike ChunSoft wouldn't approve of.

9) Rules may be added or modified at any time given. Any rule changes will be posted in #announcements. The staff has the right to clear or stop any conversations that might get out of hand.

Rule of thumb:

If you're unsure whether something is offensive or not; don't post it. - If something happens, report it to a staff-member, so appropriate action can be taken. - You're also free to private-message a staff-member for clarification on any of these rules.
