Effect on Shiren
Shiren (player character) movement and attack controls will get a random direction. He can't speak to NPCs, and can attack them accidentally when pressing the action button.
However, ranged attacks like shooting Projectiles, swinging Staves or throwing Items will still launch the proper direction.
How to get affected
There are several ways to get this status condition:
- Hundred Eye monsters can confuse Shiren with their special ability
- Get hit by a magic bolt from Skull Wizard and Skull Wraith with a confusing effect
- Step on a Traps
- Confuse Hermit can confuse Shiren with their special ability
- Get hit by a reflected bolt from a Staves/Doppelganger
- Eat an Herbs/Confusion
- Get hit by thrown Herbs of Confusion from Daze Radish
How to cure
To cure confusion, it is possible to:
- Eat a Herbs/Medicinal
- Eat a Herbs/Restorative
- Transform into a Monsters by eating its Monster Meat
Wearing an Calm will prevent confusion.
