Effect on Shiren
Shiren (player character) will miss all melee attacks. Ranged attacks such as firing Projectiles, swinging Staves, reading Scrolls or throwing Items.
How to get affected
There are a few ways to be inflicted with this status condition:
- Miss Hermit can make Shiren fail main attacks for 5 turns
- Read a Scrolls/Failure
- Get hit by a magic bolt from a Staves/Failure
How to cure
The only way to get rid of this status condition is to wait until the effect wears off, or by transforming into a Monsters by eating its Monster Meat.
A Homing Blade or a Weapons with its Melding and Seals will guarantee that all attacks hit their target, even while affected by this state[Citation needed].
