Effect on Shiren
Being poisoned causes Template:ShirenPC current strength to decrease. There are several ways this can be inflicted:
Poison Dart Trap: Will take 5 damage and current strength will decrease by 1.
Poison Herb: Will take 5 damage and current strength will decrease by 1. Will also be inflicted with 'Slow' status for 5 turns.
Rotten Riceball: Though it is not explicitly stated that this is a poison effect, Shiren will take 5 damage and current strength will decrease by 3. This negative effect is also blocked when Shiren has the 'Poison-free' status, suggesting that it is a poisoning.
How to get affected
- Triggering a Poison Dart Trap.
- Get hit by a successfully thrown Poison Herb, which are thrown by levels 1-3 Ghost Radish Family Monsters.
- Eat a Poison Herb.
- Eat a Rotten Riceball that has a chance to induce the effect.
How to cure
- Eat an Antidote Herb to restore current strength to the maximum.
- Successfully press on a Chiropractic Jar to restore current strength to the maximum.
- Eat a Herb of Strength to increase current strength by 1.
Equipping an Antidote Armband will not cure a poisoning, but will prevent future poisonings as long as it is equipped and not Cursed.
Eating a Special Riceball to gain the 'poison-free' status will not cure a poisoning and maximum strength loss that has already occurred, but it will prevent strength being lost to poisons while the effect persists on that current floor.
