It made its debut in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB - Monster of Moonlight Village in 1996, making them part of the Second Batch of Monster Families added to the series. They're a secondary mascot, alongside the Mamel Family, with a Chintala even appearing alongside a Mamel on the Shiren the Wanderer Pachinko Machine, Princess Suzune and the Tower of Slumber. |
