According to a Japanese machine translation from 2007, of a now-lost Chinese post discussing the game's details, they claimed it was added in the 1997 re-broadcast. This is not the case, as proven in a recording of the broadcast where the date is clearly seen to be May 24, 1996, and Gaibara's advice plays.[1] This site seems to also get several details wrong, such as the broadcast dates, referring to it as an extra episode, and referring to it as an enhanced version of the Mountaintop Town Jar Event. The bit about it being an enhanced version in the original post appears to be referring to the game itself, not the specific event. Unless otherwise noted, these sources should not be considered credible in regards to this gameplay mechanic, although, the first one does get several other things correct. It means they likely made a simple mistake, or the Japanese machine translation was incorrect. Jubilee (talk) 08:17, June 16, 2024 (UTC)
