Trick Room (Japanese: トリックルーム, Trick Room) is a Psychic-type Move in Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.

Effect

Trick Room reverses the Travel Speed of all Pokémon on the floor and ends upon going to the next floor. This move reverses current change Travel Speed and subsequent changes. Trick Room cannot be used again to end its effect, nor does it affect the permanent Travel Speed boost on enemy Kecleon. It doesn't affect the actual Speed stat, and doesn't have any effect on other methods of granting the player extra turns, which is usually done by increasing their Travel Speed. (i.e. the Additional Action Emera)

If Pokémon with the ability Quick Feet already have their Travel Speed raised, immediately after their speed is lowered (making them terrified), Quick Feet increases their speed, then they return to normal speed, which means Trick Room initially doesn't reverse Travel Speed changes occuring in the middle of a turn. After the increase to speed wears off, the Pokémon's Travel Speed will rise to double speed then immediately return to normal speed. Afterwards, Quick Feet's changes to Travel Speed are reversed as normal. This is the only possible way to slow a Pokémon with the Quick Feet ability.

Slow Start: [Research required]

Trick Room also exhibits some hidden effects. It disables anything that lets the user attack twice in a single turn, like the Chlorophyll, Prankster, and Unburden abilities, etc. It also disables the Barrage emera.
