Draft:Shiren 5 Vita:Gyadon Blocker Type

The Gyadon Blocker family of Shields was first introduced in Shiren 4. It bears the Anti-Peck rune, which prevents Gyadon monsters from eating your items. This effect is static. When the Gyadon Blocker reaches its 8th level, the Gyad-NON!, it gains the Agile rune, which increases the dodge rate from 12% to 22%. This shield does not resonate with any other piece of equipment.

Tips for use

The Gyadon Blocker is useful as the main source of the Anti-Peck rune, to put on other shields. The Red Shield also gains this rune when it reaches its level 8 form, the Shugouseki. Anti-Peck is nice to have, but not too much of a big deal since you can also put your items in pots or on the ground to prevent them being eaten.

As a base, it's not strong, but not so weak that you couldn't use it for a while before finding a better shield. It has one notable trait in the number of rune slots it starts with. But it doesn't level up too quickly, and doesn't get anything special out of leveling up except the Agile rune, which can be easily obtained from the Spry Shield instead.
