Nintendo Channel was a channel available for the Wii, available as a free download on the Wii Shop Channel. The channel provided users with information about Wii, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS software, as well as upcoming game trailers, developer interviews, and commercials. Players could download Nintendo DS game demos and send them to a Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS through DS Download Play, and receive recommendations for Wii, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS software from other users on the service.
The channel was shut down on June 28, 2013.
DS Download Service
A few Mystery Dungeon games had a downloadable demo available at the DS Download Service. Of the few, only Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate's demo was available exclusively in Japan.
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky DS Download Play Demos
- Trial Forest was available from March 27, 2009, to ??? in Japan[1], and from November 10 to 13, 2009, and December 2009 to January 2010 in Europe.[2]
- Hidden Shopkeeper Village was available from November 20, 2009 and December 2009 to January 2010 in Europe.[2]
- Little Plains was available from March 25 to May 12, 2009, in Japan[3][4], and from November 27, 2009, to December 2009 to January 2010 in Europe.[2]
- Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate Trial Version
was available from November 24, 2010, to ??? in Japan.[5]
