This page documents the various different releases of Magic Castle of the Desert, their special editions, and their contents. This includes: Game Boy Color Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB2 - Magic Castle of the Desert, and Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert.

Game Boy Color

Limited Edition

Early "Limited Edition" copies of Magic Castle GBC came with the box and manual, a Chunsoft product postcard, and a Secret Code Card. The cartridge came in a little baggie, nestled inside of a larger cardboard sub-structure.[1]

Standard Edition

Nintendo DS

The Nintendo DS release included the standard case, cover art, manual, and game cartridge. As well as a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection booklet, a SEGA contest entry form, a product registration leaflet?, a Chunsoft x SEGA Project leaflet, and a Club Nintendo registration leaflet.
