Origin
The Shirenger GB are a parody of Super Sentai shows, otherwise known outside of Japan as Power Rangers. "Shirenger" is a portmanteau of "Shiren" and "Ranger", a common naming scheme used in Super Sentai shows and their parodies.[2]
