This page describes locations in Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the WandererTemplate:FT. There is a total of 4 dungeons in the game.

Towns and Villages

Towns and villages are locations where the player mainly interacts with characters, shops, or enters other locations, including dungeons. In this game, towns and villages keep the same grid movement as dungeons, and friendly characters can be affected by items such as StavesTemplate:FT. The player can also steal from shops, which makes enemies appear in the current town or village.

Dungeons

Dungeons in this game consist of randomly generated floors with loot and equipment scattered about. Players of other Mystery Dungeon games are often surprised to find out the main dungeon, Table Mountain(NT) - This name may be officially used elsewhere, but this media hasn't been officially translated., also known as Impasse ValleyTemplate:FT, is only 30 floors. However, it shouldn't be underestimated, because first-time players are likely to fail a lot, as Shiren's level is reset to 1 every time an adventure in a dungeon ends. The most important thing in Shiren is to keep learning from every attempt. Items can also be kept in Warehouses between attempts. This allows the player to get many powerful items, which can make getting through the main dungeon significantly easier.

" Shiren the Wanderer is a short game. You could probably beat it in an hour. But you probably couldn't.

In addition to the main dungeon, three more dungeons can be unlocked in the post-credits, the last one of which is the ultimate challenge of the game, Fei's Final ProblemTemplate:FT, a 99 floor dungeon that doesn't allow bringing in items when entering it.
