The Tainted Insect (Japanese: 魔蝕虫) is the boss of Table Mountain in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer, appearing on floor 30, Waterfall Cavern. Defeating the Tainted Insect, releasing the Golden Condor and watching the credits constitutes completing the main adventure of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS, after which bonus dungeons and other features are unlocked.
