Later on in the game players can find Kecleon shops lying around in dungeons. These shops contain tiles with a fancy rug style and about 6-9 items laying in the middle. When a player encounters one, they get the chance to use some of the gold on-hand to pick up items midway. They can also use this to sell objects by placing them on the ground or by swapping them.

This Kecleon Shops (dungeons) page is about shops found in towns. For the town shops, see Pkmn:Kecleon Shop (towns).
For Kecleon Wares run by Kecleon (Little Brother), see Pkmn:Kecleon Wares.

Kecleon Shops (Japanese: カクレオンのおみせ) are Item shops run by Kecleon in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. They can be found in Dungeons.

Kecleon Shops

A Kecleon Shop seen in Rescue Team DX

In the games, players can find Kecleon shops in dungeons. These shops contain tiles with a fancy rug style and some items laying on them. When a player encounters one, they get the chance to use some of the Poké on-hand to pick up items to purchase. They can also use this to sell items by placing them on the carpet or by swapping them with the existing shop items.

When the player is about to leave, Kecleon will ask them to pay. If they refuse in Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team and Nintendo DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness, or Nintendo DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, they'll be considered a thief. Starting from Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, players get the chance to put the items back. Any attempts to run off with items without paying will make them a thief.

Theft

An example of what happens when theft is committed.

If players steal from Kecleon, they will end up being considered a thief, the music changes, and Kecleon will then begin to attack the Team. Kecleon are of very high level and have the stats to back it up. It's almost useless to resist unless players have a very strong Pokémon. The area will also begin to swarm with hostile Kecleon.

If the player is defeated, they will be denied Rescue, forcing them to give up and lose all the rewards they have as punishment.
