This page serves the purpose of documenting the contentious ownership of the rights to the Torneko's Great Adventure{{UT}} series, which are rumored to have previously been held by {{Meta|Chunsoft}}, until they were sold to {{Meta|Square Enix}} to prevent {{Meta|The Near Bankruptcy of Chunsoft}}. The claim seems to originate from the {{Meta|2004 2channel Leak}}, and several pieces of evidence support this claim. It's believed that Chunsoft, later Spike Chunsoft sold the rights to the Dragon Quest Mystery Dungeon series to Square Enix, but retains the rights to the Torneko's Great Adventure series.
